Good news everyone… Futurama is BACK!!!
According to TV Squad, Futurama is returning!
The moment every fan has been waiting for (apart from those who bought the ‘complete’ dvd boxset) is here! Futurama IS returning to TV!
I’ve loved Futurama since it was first released - in my opinion, its even better than the Simpsons. The gentle (and not so gentle) dig’s at popular Sci-Fi culture, along with typical Matt Groening humour and artwork was just too good to miss, and after seeing every episode available, I like many fans, long for more!
Well now we have to long no longer (quite a lot of longs there)…
Actually, we do. We have to wait until 2008. But then we’ll be getting at least 13 new episodes! Huzzah!
Oh, and FOX, “Bite My Shiny Metal Ass”…

Right, what’s all this about Futurama being better than the Simpsons? Okay, I know things in Springfield are getting a touch stale considering we’re in, what, Season 18? But in it’s day, the Simpsons was untouchable. The humour, the comedy on so many different levels. I like Futurama, but it’s not as good as The Simpsons. Hell, The Simpsons made Futurama. Oh, and Webmaster; “Eat my shorts!”

Lol - ok, i cant argue with you there - if we didnt have the Simpsons, we wouldnt have Futurama. And dont get me wrong, i enjoy the simpsons as much as the next guy. The programs are totally different in reality. The humour in the Simpsons is much more in-your-face, where as in Futurama its a bit more subtle. I like that

I love futurama, yaaaay, what a funny programme. I can’t really decide between the simpsons and futurama - I agree with you andy that the humour is more subtle.
